These resources span my career; from my period of teaching unqualified, through to an AST of English & Director of Teaching & Learning. Although my specialism is English, I have taught GCSE Citzienship, Language and Lit, Media Studies, Maths & History. I have also taught all of those at Key Stage 3, so there is an eclectic mix here. As the main trainer in my previous school, I have uploaded many insets and training session powerpoints too.

This would also be ideal for Governor training so that Governors have a fuller understanding of the English curriculum in secondary school. Also, hughl;y suitable for NQTs / PGCE students.

This is a worksheet that I've given to new TAs / PGCE students to support them in using the internet and word to create worksheets - for those that are new ish to PCs etc.
This sheet is used to gather all info on a pupils progress throughout Key Stage 3 from 2 to 4. Passed with summative assessment from teacher to teacher to fill in so that teachers can get a full and detailed overview of each indovidual pupil.
Building on my other resources for setting up a school magazine, this lesson has the L/Os:
to explore a comment text found in a newspaper.
to decide on an issue I might like to write about for the School Magazine.
There are three different types attached here that excuse pupils from class and explain what they're doing to raise money - I use them with my form when we raise money for CIN.
As part of the profile of heightening the awareness of meetings and making it feel like something very special, I created this invite to the meetings - all ready for you to put the time and date on!
I designed these very simple self evaluation questionairres for pupils as part of their mentoring process. Pupils fill these in by asking teachers their levels and it encourages them to take ownership of their learning.
